LEAR – APPOINTMENT PROCESS – Step 1 to 3

Step 1Identify the person in your organisation to act as its appointed representative (LEAR).
Step 2Download the following four forms on https://ec.europa.eu/research/participants/docs/h2020-funding-guide/grants/applying-for-funding/register-an-organisation/lear-appointment_en.htm
– LEAR appointment letter
– LEAR role and duties
– Terms and conditions of use of the Participant Portal electronic exchange system
– Declaration of consent to the terms and conditions of the Participant Portal electronic exchange system
Step 3Fill in the LEAR appointment letter (all fields).
Get your organisation’s legal representative to:
– sign and stamp the ‘LEAR appointment letter’;
– sign and stamp the ‘LEAR role and duties document’ (this one to be signed also by the LEAR);
– read the ‘Terms and conditions of use of the Participant Portal electronic exchange system’;
